Well done boys on a fantastic season!

To All Club Members & Families
Here we are almost at the end of another thrilling football season.  We hope everyone has had an enjoyable time with the Club through the 2008 season, and look forward to seeing you all back in 2009.

To those in the 2008 U17’s, the Committee and the Club wish you well for your football careers into the future, and look forward to watching you play with the Doggies in coming years.

On Sunday 14th September, from 10am, the Club will be holding its’ annual Presentation Day interrupted at midday for the Club Annual General Meeting, followed by a complimentary spit roast luncheon and then the balance of team presentations.  We look forward to every Club Family being a part of this day.

The Club has enjoyed a very successful year, both on and off the field, and is in a very healthy state looking forward.  This success is due to the tremendous energy put in throughout the year by Coaching staff, Team Managers, on-field support staff, Canteen/Bar operators and Committee, all of whom are volunteers and give up their valued leisure time for the betterment of the Club and the kids’ enjoyment of their football experience, and invaluable financial support from an ever growing list of Club Sponsors.

There are around 240 families involved in our football Club; of these families, only a very small percentage chose to participate in the administration of the Club, a disappointingly low percentage.

We encourage everyone to actively participate in this year’s AGM and to offer yourselves up for Committee positions.  The continuing vitality of the Club is dependent upon the introduction of new blood, new personalities, new ideas, particularly from parents with players in the lower age ranges, who will be a part of the future of the Club for many years to come.  Please give thought in the coming weeks to participating in your child’s football journey by becoming a Committee member.

We look forward to seeing you all on 14TH September.
